Fellow SHRUG readers, Anyone out there familiar with converting pixel =
values
of images?  I have some Landsat 7 data and want to convert the thermal =
band
pixel Digital Number to Degrees C using a standard NASA algorithm. Any
recommendations on software that can handle this? I have ERDAS, Arc View
3.2a, and ArcGIS, both with Spatial Analyst, and also an evaluation copy =
of
ENVI and PCI Geomatica.  Now one of these must handle the job, but I am
unfamiliar with ENVI or Geomatica and have only a brief demo time frame. =
 I'd
rather do it in ERDAS if possible.

I converted the .img file to ASCII, but Excel could not open the entire =
695
MB file.  Any suggestions?=20
