The Florida Department of Environmental Protection/Bureau of Mine =
Reclamation
is looking for a half time (20 hrs. per week) Entry Level OPS GIS =
(Geographic
Information Systems) Technician. =20

The position will require a candidate with strong computer skills and =
the
ability to learn quickly. Programming skills and database development
experience a plus.  Primary job responsibility will include assisting in =
the
execution of basic GIS tasks.  The position will provide a good learning
opportunity and exposure to cutting edge technologies.

Pay with be competitive and will be dependent on experience. =20

Desired skills:=20
 * Basic knowledge of network operating systems such as Windows NT/2000
Server
 * Hardware installation and troubleshooting.=20
 * Familiarity with Excel and Access.
 * Any experience with GIS/CAD software products is a plus.
