Hello SHRUG,

The GeoLib Program at FREAC is seeking an employee with initiative,
desire to contribute, and good interpersonal and organization skills, to
maintain and continue development of a national internet geographic
database, for public librarians, policymakers and researchers.  This is
a 20 hour a week job, hourly rate negotiable.

Programming requirements include experience with HTML, DHTML, and
JavaScript. An understanding of internet database access using Cold
Fusion or other software is valuable.  JSP programming skills are
helpful but not required.

The candidate should have working knowledge of geography and mapping
concepts, and experience with ArcView, ArcGIS or Arc IMS is a plus.  The
ability to perform descriptive level statistical analysis with census
data is desirable.=20

The candidate should be flexible and will be expected to work on tasks
such as:
Database development
Developing web pages as feedback from users comes in
Developing case studies and tutorials in a geographic environment
Checking feedback daily and organizing in communicative fashion

better understand the working environment.
