I'm sorry to pose this question here - please forgive me, but I think =
maybe someone out there has done this. I can't find the answer anywhere =
else!
We have all our old jobs stored on CDs - about a zillion of them. How =
can we make a quick list of what is on each CD so we can search for it =
by job name? You know - when I open Windows Explorer I want to simply =
click "copy" to copy the LIST OF CONTENTS and then "paste" into Excel =
(or whatever). Then I can add a column to equal the CD number - do you =
see what I mean?=20
I just know there has to be an easier way than for one of us to sit and =
type each file name into Excel (or whatever) or - what we have been =
doing - loading a CD, is the job there? No? OK - load the next CD, is it =
there? That is not very efficient.=20
