ZIP codes change faster than any static data source can handle. If you
use the ESRI data it will be 97% correct.
To get truly current ZIP Polygons [as opposed to a simple list from the
USPS] you need to pay a service like GDT for the files.
The Postal Service changed Leon/Jefferson County zip codes two years ago
. I lived in Hawks Landing, of US 90 in extreme eastern Leon County.
UPS and FedEx insist 32309 is Jefferson County, Miccosukee area still.
I had credit card billings refused and deliveries delayed because the
USPS does
not attempt to draw Zip Polygons.

Such polygons are a best guess created by private vendors.
The constant flux of ZIP codes makes them a very poor analytic tool. I
learned that in the Agency for Health Care. They cross county lines
making it more confusing.

Does anyone have a shape file with current Florida zip codes? Or
could someone point me in the right direction to access one?

  Thanks for your help.
