The Florida Lottery maintains a comprehensive database of all business
locations in Florida.

PLEASE NOTE: Florida has a very broad public records law. Most written
communications to or from state officials regarding state business are
considered to be public records and will be made available to the =
public and
the media upon request. Your e-mail messages may, therefore, be subject =
to
public disclosure.

I was just tasked with providing a list of gas stations within 3 miles =
of
I-75, 95, and I-4.... If we need that info later on just let me know =
and
we
will be able to help. -Dave=20

Good morning all!
=20
Though it looks like the impact is not going to be as rough as =
originally
forcast we're still 24 hrs+ out. As evident w/Charley, things happen
(expecting a strong 2, got a 4). Wouldn't it be nice to have it in =
reverse
this time. None the less we are still preping for a Cat 5 storm (always =
one
above what you expect) since Frances still needs to cross the Gulf =
Stream
and
the sheer affect is predicted to weeken throughout the day.

=20
To the Point . . . .
Thanks to an almost overwhelming response from Shrug users (much =
appreciated
here) we are staffed through Monday. I have one relief person tagged to
start
Sunday for cross training on the night shift 7pm-7am (midnight boxed =
lunch
included, free coffee & tea).
=20
Need . . .
Three additional staff who can (and whose supervisors) can commit to =
4-5
days
activation.=20
2 for days 7am-7pm
1 for nights 7pm-7am
=20
My goal is to rotate staff on a 4-5 day schedule for health/safety and
productivity concerns as well as to minimize the impacts to "parent"
agencies.
Staffing hours will reduce to 8hr/day when the EOC moves to operational
hours
from 7am - 10pm. This is not expected to happen unitl at least 72 hrs =
after
the storm exits the state
=20
Skills needed
Intermediate to advanced level Arc8.x and/or 9.X - layouts, =
cartography,
data
creation, quieries both by attribute and geographical, using access
databases
w/ArcGIS etc, etc.=20
Stressful, fast paced, quickly changing priorities, serve user groups =
from
victims and responders to press and governor's staff, etc.
Work w/people who are sleep deprived, stressed, and adrenalin toxic =
serving
millions of people who are demanding answers NOW
=20
Looking for anyone w/Mapguide, HAZUS, or CATS-JACE experience =
(particularly
flood modeling for the last two)
=20
If you are able and willing please forward your information to
carla.boyce@dep.state.fl.us or cj.boyce@dca.state.fl.us name experience
level
shift preference Contact info (email, work phone, cell phone or home =

Supervisor's name and contact info

ThanQ again to all who expressed interest and all those who have been
helping!
