shrug-l: dbf problem

[Ken Stocks]

I have been editing an attribute table in excel and
can not save it into a format that can be joined in
ArcMap.  I have tried to save it as a dbf but it will
not open.  If anyone has a solution to saving the
excel file in a way that it is compatable with ArcMap,
please let me know.
