In Toolbox, there is a Search Tab that you can search for a tool...

Under the Data Management Tools, there is a Multipart To Single part
tool that explodes features. This might work for you?=20

Does anyone know the command to explode a shape file in ArcMap?  I have
a polygon shape file comprised of several individual shapes that is only
one entity.  I need to explode each shape.  I have checked out the help
menu but can not come up with the key word. =20
