Shrug-L members:

I am involved with an FWC-sponsored project that will compile information on
local boating regulations in Florida. The project will involve ferreting out
local ordinances and using any spatial information included within the
ordinance language to create GIS themes that include the spatial boundaries
of the boating regulation "zones." Many such boating zones are defined as
being within the boundaries of particular political jurisdictions, such as
municipalities/cities/counties. Having these boundaries will be a great help
to us. In particular, we need boundaries that include the maritime
(waterside) extent. As this information is being compiled for planning
purposes we do not need legally defensible boundaries; just the best
available for informational display within a GIS. (That said, if legally
defensible boundaries exist, we would like them.) 

FWC will use the information when planning implementation of or adjustments
to state sponsored boating safety and regulation zones.

Any help or guidance in locating municipal/city/county boundaries (with the
maritime extents) would be greatly appreciated!
