Position Description:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business or
public administration, or related field; AND five (5) years data
processing system analysis and design experience, including three (3)
years supervisory experience; or a year for year interchange of related
education and experience equal to the minimum qualifications.

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: (position requirements at entry):

Valid Georgia State Driver's License (as required by position
assignment)

EXAMINATION:
The examination will consist of an evaluation of education and
experience, as indicated by Category "E" Test Class accomplished by
analysis of the application. Application must document that the
applicant possesses the minimum knowledge, skills, education and
experience as listed. If selected, an official (raised seal) college
transcript is required, at time of employment, for all degrees/course
work shown on the application. online application available on County

POSITION PREFERS:
* Proficient with geodatabase design and maintenance 

* Proficient with ESRI tools such as ArcInfo, ArcGIS 9.*, ArcIMS,
ArcPad, ArcGIS Spatial Analyst, ArcGIS 3D Analyst and SDE 

* Proficient with SDE and SQL Server Databases including installation,
configuration, security, maintenance, tuning, use of SDE command lines,
stored procedures, designing queries and reporting 

* Experience using GIS to optimize management of Water and Wastewater
facilities including integration with hydraulic modeling, Computerized
Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), raster data, digital elevation
models and floodplain analysis 

* Proficient in designing and maintaining web-enabled interfaces using
standard programming tools such as VB.Net, Java, ASP, etc. Also
proficient in the use of stored procedures, script building and report
writing using Crystal Reports
