John - have you tried Ungrouping the legend after converting to a
graphic? That will allow you to re-size the frame and move elements
around and add text elements.

Does anyone know how to size a Legend box so you can add additional text
to the bottom of it, like footnotes, notes on the projection, etc.?

I tried converting it to a graphic, but that didn't allow me to resize
the box to insert the comments.  I just need a quick fix here.

Any suggestions (and no, my Bureau won't buy me a copy of Adobe
Illustrator)?
