shrug-l: GIS Position available in Tampa

I have an announcement to make.  Birkitt Environmental Services, a
well-respected environmental consulting firm in Tampa, FL, is looking
for a qualified GIS tech to assist with an on-going project.

 

The GIS needs of the project include programming of Trimble GPS units,
data downloads from GPS units, post-processing of the GPS data, vector
data creation, and field\post-production mapping of all data collected.
The successful candidate will have to be able to devote 40 hours per
week to this project, starting immediately (field crews go out next
month).  This position will be a temp position for now, with the
possibility of donvetailing into a position with BES after completion of
the project.  Successful candidate should have 0-2 years experience
using ArcGIS Desktop software and Trimble software (TerraSync and GPS
Pathfinder Office).  Successful candidate would have to be able to work
without guidance at times.
