shrug-l: Road Distance

I am currently working on a rail project and am trying to figure out the 
lenght of roads leading out from a number of transit stops. I would like 
to clip the first two mile segment from each road leaving the stop. A 
buffer around the stop would not work because roads are not all linear.

I am not sure if network analyst would be able to do this are not. 

Thanks for any suggestions or recommendations.
