shrug-l: High Res Satellite Imagery

Shruggers,

I have a client that is wanting to do a detailed supervised classification
of mangrove swamps.  Does anyone have experience related to the cost
of acquisition, image availability and which might be the best sensor
platform to use?  The desired scale of the project is 1:50 000, which to me
means that LANDSAT 7 ETM + would do the job, but they have asked me to
indicate costs and availability of higher resolution.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
