shrug-l: local base station files

As mentioned earlier on the SHRUG, FDOT's FTP site that disseminates data to
NOAA/NGS and others is down.  It is being worked on and resolved.  The data
is not lost and portions of  last week's data have been sent to NGS for
availability to the public through their FCORS product.   Currently, FDOT
data availability is still hit or miss.   Once the FTP server issue is
resolved, all data will be made available.   FDOT has offered to manually
provide files as needed as a stop gap measure.  

 

As for Blakely GA, I believe that CORS is operated by E-GPS out of Atlanta.
E-GPS sent out a warning on Friday reporting significant solar activity and
problems with their network.

Can anyone explain to me why I can't download base station files from any of
the Tallahassee CBS sites?  I am having to get base station files from
Blakely, GA.

Most all GPS Post Process software uses NOAA/NGS's server for correction
data.  NGS's Server went down yesterday and is only up intermittently today.
For Trimble Pathfinder Office(PFO) users who have tried to correct,  should
delete all files out of their Base Folder and try again.   If you attempt to
correct that same data and do not delete that base file,  PFO will attempt
to use that same bad file over and over again.
