shrug-l: ArcGIS II: Essential Workflows class on April 9-11 in Atlanta

eGIS Associates is holding an ArcGIS II: Essential Workflows

in the Metro Atlanta area. This three day official Esri developed course
teaches students to the skills needed to create maps, edit GIS data, and
share information with others across the ArcGIS Platform. This class will be
taught by Esri Certified Trainer with over 20 years of GIS related
experience (that would be me).  

This class uses ArcGIS 10.1 and will cover the following topics which form
the foundation for more advanced classes:

 

1.      Authoring, sharing and using GIS Maps

2.      Organizing GIS Data

3.      Displaying Data in ArcGIS

4.      Managing map layers

5.      Working with tabular data

6.      Creating & Editing data

7.      Labeling features

8.      Designing map layouts including map books

9.      Preparing data for analysis

10.   GIS Analysis

11.   Sharing GIS Information

 

Registration for this class will close on April 3, 2013  so if you are
interested in attending you need to register quickly. You should have
completed the ArcGIS I: Introduction to GIS class or have similar
experience. In other words, you should have some very basic experience with
the ArcGIS Platform before taking this class. 

 

The cost of this class is $1,325.00. We do offer discounts for organizations
that send two or more students or students that register for multiple
classes. In addition URISA, GITA, SHRUG and PeeDee Users Members are

This course can be used as education points for obtaining or renewing the
GISP certification. It is also on the recommended list of courses for those
looking to obtain their Esri Desktop Associate and Professional
