Hey Bret,

I checked with Eric Brock, our Certified Trimble Positions/ ArcPad trainer. He suggested this:

Polylines to Polygons.  ArcInfo should have a tool if he goes to the search menu.  Or ET Geowizards has a tool for Polyline to Polygonhttp://www.ian-ko.com/.
