Here are some recent links regarding ArcGIS apps:


*         You know ArcGIS is a location platform that comes with a collection of Apps for Everyone, right?  That means it includes a family of apps. Apps for everyone. Get to know these apps and implement them to extend the reach of your GIS. http://www.esri.com/software/apps



*         Here's a new no cost training seminar on three strategies to create apps that provide the desired user experience and functionality for a given project. You will learn a workflow to select an appropriate app strategy and understand the level of effort required to create an app using each of the three strategies. http://training.esri.com/gateway/index.cfm?fa=catalog.webCourseDetail&courseid=2985


*         Here's a great Story Map app from Walgreen's - it is a nationwide Flu Index by State and Market showing flu activity that is driven by their big data from prescriptions filled - this is updated each week. http://arcg.is/1Ozgmut


*         Story Maps like the Walgreen's Flu Index are great ways to tell a story and communicate with others.  They are easy to produce and require no coding.  If you are not using Story Maps, you should.  http://storymaps.arcgis.com/en/   There is no cost training for Story Maps http://training.esri.com/gateway/index.cfm?fa=catalog.webCourseDetail&courseid=2924 and tutorials on the Story Map web site.
