shrug-l: FLURISA Openings

Good Morning SHRUG,



Over the past few years, FLURISA has been growing in popularity and expanding the services which are offered. This continued growth comes from our committed and involved board of volunteers made up of GIS professionals throughout the State of Florida.  FLURISA would like to announce a candidacy period to the FLURISA membership for several positions on the FLURISA executive board and regional director positions.



Positions which are currently available for FLURISA members on the executive board include:



- Vice President - a two year term, which rotates into the president position

- Treasurer

- Secretary



Executive board members must not only be members of FLURISA but must also be members in good standing with the URISA national organization.  Participation on the board is eligible for GISP points.



In addition to the executive board positions, two regional director positions are also vacant and open to candidates for consideration.  These positions only require you to be a member in good standing with FLURISA.

-SunCoast - Covering the Tampa/St.Pete area -NorthWest - Tallahassee area



Interested parties should send an email identifying themselves to the FLURISA nominating committee nc at flurisa.org<mailto:nc at flurisa.org> and the position for which they would to be considered, along with a copy of the individuals resume to the FLURISA nominating committee by January 20th, 2016 at 5pm ET.
