As the public health crisis around the spread of the Zika virus continues, I want to remind you that Esri has a suite of configurable, commercial-off-the-shelf solutions that support any vector-borne disease surveillance and control effort. These solutions are not just for Zika, but any vector-borne disease, including West Nile and dengue fever, so they are useful beyond the challenge of Zika.
This is a great opportunity for you, as a GIS practitioner, to make a real difference in your community and show the value of you and GIS. Contact those entities in your community that are involved in this important public health mission and engage them about these solutions.
If you want more information, please do not hesitate to contact me or your Esri account team.
