The Esri and Leica Smart Communities Innovation Challenge - Mobile Government Edition is an open call for demonstration projects that supports bringing ground-breaking ideas of state and local government to reality.
The Challenge:
The goal of this program is to foster transformational approaches to improving the productivity and efficiency of mobile field workers in all government disciplines in state, regional, county, and municipal governments. This program recognizes that enterprises may have particular field data collection challenges that smartphones can't ideally meet. Projects are required to validate the value of combining geographic information systems (GIS) and global positioning system (GPS) technologies for data collection, optimizing workloads, and providing real time information that supports field mobility.
Reviewers will look for ideas that support complete mobile workflows, using Esri and Leica hardware and software, that extend to back-office processes such as operational dashboards.
