Hello Everyone,

I've been asked to solicit interest in contract work for some mapping application development (staff augmentation). The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) has need for a web application developer specializing in web mapping functionality (see below). Our main office is located in Tallahassee.

Respondents must provide their hourly rate and availability (business days and hours), along with resume / work experience. Provide responses to Cory.Campbell at FreshFromFlorida.com<mailto:Cory.Campbell at FreshFromFlorida.com> before 3/31/2016.


*SCOPE OF WORK*
Near-Term - HTML5 mobile-ready web mapping application component to be implemented into existing application
4/1/2016 - 6/30/2016 (with strong possibility of extension)?

Existing Platform:

  *   SQL Server
  *   Google Maps API for Work

General functional requirements:

  1.  User enters one of the following search criteria from picklist
     *   City
     *   ZIP
     *   County
  2.  Application queries existing location records based on user input
  3.  Application displays query results
     *   as locations in an embedded interactive web map
     *   as a table listing of results beneath the web map
  4.  Both the map locations and table list should be able to display relevant information (via popup or other method)
  5.  Interactive web map has full navigation capabilities
  6.  Query results are ADA, Section 508 compliant

Long-Term - development of stand-alone mobile application
7/1/2016 - TBD

Future Platform:

  *   SQL Server
  *   ArcGIS (enterprise)

General functional requirements:
TBD

Preference will be given to respondents with experience transitioning mapping functionality from Google to ArcGIS.
