shrug-l: ArcGIS Pro training in conjunction with SHRUG GIS Workshop

Are you ready for ArcGIS Pro? Have you begun looking at it? It is time to
start planning your transition to Esri's newest desktop GIS Application,
ArcGIS Pro. ArcGIS Pro is a 64-bit application which makes use of a modern
ribbon interface. It fully supports the hardware found in newer computers
including multiple cores, more the 4 GB of RAM, and dedicated graphics
cards.  This means it is faster and more robust than our old friend ArcMap
which it will ultimately replace. 

 

SHRUG is providing you with several opportunities to learn more about this
powerful new application. They are hosting two pre-workshop training classes
dedicated to ArcGIS Pro, Learning ArcGIS Pro 1: Fundamentals

to Programming ArcGIS Pro with Python

existing ArcMap user or someone completely new to GIS, the Learning ArcGIS
Pro 1 class will teach you the fundamentals needed to create maps and
perform basic editing using ArcGIS Pro. If you are a current ArcGIS Python
Developer, then the Introduction to Programming ArcGIS Pro will show you how
to transition your existing skills to ArcGIS Pro. Seats are still available
for both classes but registration will be closing on Friday. You can
register to attend a class without having to attend the Workshop. However, I
would encourage you to do both.
