Just thought I would send a few links regarding ArcGIS solutions that can really help make a difference in our communities. GIS is a powerful tool that can help understand key issues important to our communities. Many of these solutions are available at no cost, and can be deployed without writing code. Please let the people working on these issues know about these solutions. They need your help.
We all know that homelessness is a real issue across the U.S. Did you know that GIS can help government agencies better serve the homeless? This Story Map walks you through some of the ArcGIS solutions that can help. I suggest you show this to those you know that work in this area:
We also know that the opioid epidemic is another issue across the country. We have a collection of solutions for this issue as well: http://solutions.arcgis.com/local-government/health/opioid/ There are several examples of government agencies using these solutions. I suggest you show these to those you know that are working on this issue.
