Job Description

Preferably local candidates with 2+ years of experience. Position open to OPT, H1B transfer, GC or US citizens.

Responsibilities will include:

  *   Participate in all phases of the SDLC on both maintenance and new projects and develop Test Plans.
  *   Test and support applications.


Required Experience and Skills:

  *   Experience and knowledge of relational databases.
  *   Demonstrated experience in utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies.
  *   Experience Managing and editing geospatial datasets
  *   Advanced working knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop, Advanced Editing and Linear Referencing principles
  *   Demonstrated experience working with Rail/Transportation related data
  *   Demonstrated experience in performing and/or developing QA/QC processes, including documenting, developing and implementing test plans and/or test automation
  *   Undergraduate degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Planning, Engineering, or related discipline, OR equivalent professional experience using GIS, CAD, and/or automated mapping software in the production of maps and spatial analysis, OR two or more years of related professional experience.
  *   Excellent Analytical and Communication skills.


Additional Skills a Plus:

  *   C#/.Net Development.
  *   Automation Tools.
  *   Experience in applying Python towards automation of Geoprocessing tasks.
  *   Familiarity with TFS (Team Foundation Server).
