Title: GIS Developer
Must-have skills: ArcGIS, HTML5, web-based application development
Location: Lake City, FL
Client: Florida Department of Transportation - FDOT (Tallahassee)
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extension​

Requirements:

  *   Experience in web-based application development with ArcGIS Server;

  *   Experience with Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online;
  *   Experience with ArcGIS for Desktop and Extensions;
  *   Experience with ArcGIS Pro;
  *   Experience in GIS concepts;
  *   Experience with programming languages for web application development, including HTML5;
  *   Experience in complex web-based application development;
  *   Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  *   Provide support for applications developed with ArcGIS Server and Portal for ArcGIS;

  *   Lead the maintenance and migration of current GIS applications and the GIS Portal page for better design and modernization, as appropriate;
  *   Provide assistance with maintenance of ArcGIS GIS Test and Production Servers and software;
  *   Implement a software life-cycle management plan for the test and production environments;
  *   Provide modifications and enhancements to existing applications as necessary;
  *   Ensure that all applications are working properly;
  *   Develop and support new and existing applications as necessary, these applications include but are not limited to D2 Enterprise GIS Web Viewer and Overlapping Projects Tool;
  *   Maintain Relational Database Management System Microsoft SQL Server for the test and production servers;
  *   Develop and maintain web-based mapping applications, including D2 Enterprise GIS Web Viewer, D2 Enterprise GIS Web Viewer, D2 GeoPONTIS, D2 NPDES and more;
  *   Provide and assist with technology and functional upgrades to web applications;
  *   Migrate existing applications in order to incorporate the GIS enterprise technologies;
  *   Provide data refreshes for web map applications as required;

Create and share map services for consumption within the ArcGIS Server environment
