shrug-l: Field Maps Freezing. Has anyone else seen this?

Good morning everyone,
I am wondering if anyone else on this list has been experiencing an issue
with Field Maps freezing up. We have a small group of users reporting Field
Maps is freezing up on their devices. Talking about 4 or 5 users out of
over 20 plus across the entire organization working on multiple projects
using different web maps/services.

Here are the consistent pieces of information:

   1. All are using iPADs
   2. All are working in downloaded areas
   3. They started reporting these issues with the past version and the
   most recent version of Field Maps
   4. Maps are accessed via AGOL but services are coming from our on-prem
   ArcGIS Server 10.8.3
   5. The backend database is SQL 2016 R2 and is versioned
   6. Download areas are set to create a version per user and not map
   7. Users are using a Trimble R2 unit (we are working to verify the
   firmware version as that has been an issue in the past.)

I was able to get Field Maps to freeze one time on my iPad but since then
it has not happened. One other member of my team was able to get it to
freeze (actually it crashed his iPad completely) one time but again it was
only that one time. Two other users in my team have not had a single issue.
So it is constantly inconsistent.

As anyone else experienced this behavior? If so did you find a fix?
