I figured we'd see more comments on this one by now.

Here in Seminole County we have not added nail salons to our database and
have not been inspecting them.  Quite frankly, we have more facilities than
we can keep up with already.  Our perception has been that the acetone on
the wipers dries and can go in the trash.  However, Kelly brings up a
different perspective regarding the waste liquid acetone from the bowls.
It is certainly food for thought.

As far as the fluorescent lights from the tanning salons go, we have not
looked at them either.  Chris brings up a good point as to how many spent
tubes these facilities generate.  On the other hand, most large retail
stores generate several hundred spent tubes a year.  I don't think we want
to get into inspecting facilities that only generate fluorescent tubes.
That being said, there are certainly some large retail facilities that
generate a lot of other hazardous wastes - much of it from damaged goods
and customer returns.
