The Seminole County Environmental Compliance, Assistance & Pollution
Prevention Program (ECAP3) has an opening for a Compliance Coordinator.
The primary responsibility of this position is coordinating permits and
other compliance related matters for the Solid Waste Management
Division.  The ECAP3 Team also operates the Household Hazardous Waste &
E-scrap program, Small Quantity Generator program, investigates
complaints and conducts a variety of related projects.  The job posting

Compliance Coordinator
The Solid Waste Management Division of Seminole County, Florida is
seeking a qualified, talented individual to join our team as Compliance
Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for
administrating all phases of compliance for the division.  Must have the
ability to interpret permit conditions and environmental regulations,
interface with regulators, coordinate sampling events, understand
laboratory analysis and related reports, work with consultants and
personnel at all levels of responsibility in order to ensure continuous
compliance  of solid waste management activities with environmental
permits, safety and related activities. Also investigates complaints,
conducts inspections and makes assessments of reported violations.
Bachelor's Degree in science, environmental studies or related field and
three years experience in environmental materials programs or an
equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to
communicate effectively and use personal computers for completing
reports, database management, etc.  Starting salary $36,057 - $45,000,
