[Pharmwaste] State Support of Take Back

Hi All,

Stories that highlight state support of take back (Attorney General buys boxes, Bureau of Narcotics collects, etc.), make me wonder why we don't have that in my state. Does it happen only when someone in a leadership position is personally motivated? If your state has a department supporting take back, do you happen to know if others catalyzed it (through personal connection or lobbying)?

Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Covanta announce 100,000# milestone:

We need a constant source of financial support (state, federal, or better yet, industry through EPR) to increase the availability of take back.
