GIS Programmer Analyst - <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Tampa, FL - $60k-70k<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Performs detail program design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation and implementation of information systems.  Responsible for systems specifications and design.

 

General Responsibilities:

1.  Responsible for programming, testing, debugging, training and documentation of information systems. 

2.  Analyzes problems within context of overall corporate flow of information.   

3.  Performs programming tasks per specifications from the Sr. Programmer Analyst or Project Leader.   

4.  Determines system specifications and produces computer programs, reports and procedures for designated projects.   

5.  Develops procedures to process information by automated and manual means. 

6.  Confers with organizational personnel to determine the problem and type of information to be processed and prepares definition of      problem.

7. May oversee the work of programmers as required.   

 

Experience:  

Minimum 3 years experience in Information Services including 1 year in programming. 

Experience in Microsoft Access, Visual Basic and Windows Operating Systems & Arc Map programming required.  

 

Preferred skills:  Basic UNIX, SYBASE, ARCSDE and ARCIMS
