shrug-l: Image Server 9.3 performance reviews?

Has anyone had a chance to look at ESRI's latest release of Image Server?  We have NAIP imagery for a two state area we'd like to load.  In the past the general in-house opinion has been that Image Server was a dog, but inital buzz about 9.3 seems better.  If anyone has had a chance to test out 9.3 I'd love to hear your comments...
